59th Midwest Magic Jubilee – 13-15 Aug. 2015

For the magicians in the St. Louis area, you all probably know about the Midwest Magic Jubilee at the St. Louis Airport Hilton which starts on Thurday and closes Saturday night. This is really for all the non-magicians out there for performances open to the public.

Thursday night, we have a Best of the Midwest performance which is free to veterans and their families. As for the entertainment, I cannot personally vouch for any of the performers except for St. Louis’ own Dan Todd, who always puts on a great show and brings the crowd a lot of fun. Also on the bill are David Goldman, Kevin Heller, Blayk Puckett, and Robert Sode, and going by what I’ve heard, this should be a great show.

Friday night’s show has a line up of Danny Orleans and Jan Rose, Tom Burgoon, Steve Barcellona, and
Ken Scott. It’s a great line up with great comedy magic and features one of my favorite magicians, Tom Burgoon. Seriously, I really recommend this show. Tom’s one of those magicians that I always look forward to seeing. Also a great mention of New Jersey by way of St. Louis magician Steve Barcellona who knows how to bring the house down.

Saturday evening, we have Roy Zaltsman, Bob Little, and Trent James. Roy’s mentalism is as entertaining as it gets by being as entertaining as it is amazing. Trent James is the youngest performer in the complete line up, and each time I see his stage illusions, it just keeps getting better. This year, Trent earned 2nd Place Adult Stage at the International Brotherhood of Magicians Convention. This should be a great show and I also highly recommend it.

Tickets for the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shows are $15 for adults and $8 for youths 16 and under. (As I mentioned before, There are also VIP seating tickets available for $20 each and can be purchased at the door or online at http:\\www.mmjubilee.com.

You might see me there, but as I’ll be stage manager, it’s not very likely until after the shows. Hit me up if you’ll be there and I’ll look for you afterwards.
